Kyle Cook clarified his position on the “Summer House” program after he sparked a rumor with a cryptic post.

Kyle, 43, wrote in an edited Instagram post on Thursday, June 18, accompanied by a slideshow of photos from his last day of shooting for the tenth season of “Bravo”: “Season 10 finale, and a decade of shooting this show as I know it. The show is not canceled, and I am not announcing that I will not be back. I was feeling sad, and I always intended to share the cover photo because it felt like the end of an era, which is why everyone was so emotional when we said goodbye at the end. Sorry everyone!”

His original Instagram post, in which he celebrated the end of the tenth season of “Summer House,” was interpreted by many fans as a hint from Kyle that he was leaving the show.

Kyle, 43, wrote in the original message: “End of an era. I can’t describe how hard it was to smile in this picture with the producers. As usual, I was the last one out of the house after filming wrapped because I carry so much gear. But this year was different. Ten seasons on our record. A new show (in town) is on the way. And an emotional end to a tough season.”

The original “Summer House” star continued: “I’m crying as I write this because we became a real family while filming this show, and leaving this house forever was heartbreaking. I can’t find enough words to thank these four (and the rest of the crew) for sacrificing their summer to make all of this a success.”

Kylie concluded by saying, “I think we can finally turn the page on this (but don’t blame me if I post some old pictures that look much happier than me driving home alone during the filming of the crossing). Finally, thank you to the fans for believing in this show and for your continued support over the past decade.”

US Weekly contacted Bravo for comment.

Kyle’s post puzzled fans, but the iconic seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion used in the “Summer House” show was listed for $5 million in March. One real estate listing highlighted the mansion’s “Summer House” appeal, noting its “elegant woodwork, luxurious hardwood floors, and a harmonious interior and exterior design ideal for hosting summer events.”

Speculation also increased about Kyle’s future on “Bravo” after a report published by “US” magazine stated that West Wilson would be leaving “Summer House” after the tenth season amid his controversial romantic relationship with Kyle’s ex-wife, Amanda Batula.

An exclusive source told US Magazine earlier this month: “It was a mutual decision between the network and West. (It seemed clear) that his involvement with the show was coming to an end (before the controversial reunion episode in season 10).”

Kylie and Amanda, both 34, announced their split after four years of marriage in January. Two months later, Amanda confirmed her relationship with Kanye West, 31, despite both having previously denied any romantic involvement.

Kyle and West’s ex-girlfriend, Ciara Miller, along with the rest of the “Summer House” cast, had the opportunity to interview Amanda – Ciara’s former close friend – and West about the sequence of events in their romantic relationship, in a three-part special from the tenth season, as well as a special episode entitled “After the Breakup,” the last of which aired on Tuesday, June 16.

The drama that led to Kyle and Amanda’s January split is currently being recounted in the spin-off show “In the City.” Amanda and Kyle were photographed looking friendly at the New York premiere of “In the City” in May, though Kyle was quick to defend his behavior.

Amanda Batula’s new romance with her “Summer House” co-star, West Wilson, has left everyone involved confused. “It’s very confusing,” Amanda’s ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, said during a TikTok interview with Adam Glenn on Wednesday, April 1. “It’s not just me, Amanda, West, and Ciara (Miller), it’s all our friends. (…)”

He added to his Instagram followers on May 19: “Guys, yes, Amanda and I took a picture together. I was so happy she came. She almost missed the show she was on. Don’t believe me. But don’t question my life, my relationship, my marriage, or even the breakdown of my marriage.”

He continued, “With all due respect, we’re all adults here, and we all attended a girls’ party. Yes, Amanda didn’t want to come, but I persuaded her and we took a picture together. Enough of this nonsense!”
